Create an update

    Start a new report from status-page settings.

    Describe the impact

    State what customers cannot do or what is degraded.

    Publish and continue

    Add progress updates through investigation and recovery.

Use a consistent sequence

  • Investigating: acknowledge the problem and impact.
  • Identified: state that the cause is known.
  • Monitoring: explain that a fix is being observed.
  • Resolved: confirm normal service and recovery time.

Set expectations

If unresolved, say when customers should expect another update—even if there is no new detail.
