Schedule maintenance

Publish planned maintenance windows and progress updates so customers know about expected service work. It is written for the people who manage the page and the customers who read it, so you can confidently explain service health without exposing internal technical details.

When to schedule maintenance

  • Planned infrastructure or application work with a known start and end time.
  • Work that may affect customer access or performance.
  • Changes that customers should be able to review later on the public maintenance page.

  1. 1.

    Open Maintenance

Open the status page settings and select Maintenance.

  2. 2.

    Schedule the work

Enter a clear title, customer-focused description, start date, and end date.

  3. 3.

    Publish progress

Open the maintenance item to post updates while work is in progress, then resolve it when work is complete.
