Monitor management · Working with monitors
Remove monitors
Delete monitors that are retired, duplicated, or no longer belong in the workspace. The guide follows the same monitor workflow used in the dashboard, so you can create, pause, remove, and troubleshoot monitors with confidence.
When to remove a monitor
Removing a monitor should be reserved for services that no longer need active monitoring. If you are unsure whether the endpoint will return, pause it first so you can keep the saved configuration.
Delete a monitor
- 1.
Open Monitors
Find the monitor you want to remove.
- 2.
Open the row menu
Select Delete.
- 3.
Read the confirmation
Confirm that the displayed domain is the monitor you intend to delete.
- 4.
Choose Yes
Statixoup removes the monitor records and refreshes the monitor list.
Before you delete
- Check whether the monitor is used on a status page.
- Confirm no team member still owns the service.
- Review recent incidents or reports if the history is needed for a follow-up.
- Pause first when the service may return.
Avoid accidental gaps
For a replacement endpoint, create and validate the new monitor before removing the old one.
