Reports

Use Reporting & Analytics

Open weekly or monthly reports to inspect monitor availability, incidents, response time, latency, and downtime history. Use these reports to understand reliability trends, compare monitors, and explain uptime, downtime, incidents, and response-time changes without reading raw check logs.

What reports include

Reporting & Analytics is opened with a report type, such as weekly or monthly, and can be filtered to a specific monitor and report period. Reports show summary cards, a response-time chart when monitor logs are available, and recent incidents connected to the selected service and time range.

  • Uptime Availability shows the monitor's availability percentage for the report range.
  • Total Incidents shows the count of incidents in the report range.
  • Average Response Time averages recorded transfer times.
  • Latest Latency shows the most recent recorded latency value.
  • Recent Incidents links directly to incident detail pages for deeper investigation.

When weekly and monthly reports are available

Weekly and monthly reports are generated from completed reporting periods, so the default view looks back at the previous full period rather than the current partial one.

  • Weekly reports summarize the previous week and are sent every Monday.
  • Monthly reports summarize the previous month and are sent on the first day of each month.

Choose report scope

  1. 1.

    Open a report link

Open Reporting & Analytics with report set to weekly or monthly.

  2. 2.

    Filter by monitor

Add or choose a monitor when you want the report to focus on one service instead of all monitors.

  3. 3.

    Use a report period

Select a report period when you need a specific week or month rather than the default previous period.

  4. 4.

    Review incidents

Open any listed incident to see the timeline, assignees, comments, and status history.

Use the response-time chart

When report logs are available for a selected monitor, the report displays response times over the weekly or monthly range. Downtime segments are highlighted and can connect back to matching incident records.

Reports depend on monitor history

New monitors may not show meaningful reports until enough checks and incidents have been recorded for the selected period.
