Connect Discord alerts

Send incident activity to Discord so responders can see downtime and recovery updates. You do not need to be a monitoring expert: this guide walks you through connecting the alert destination, confirming that it works, and knowing what to check if an alert does not arrive.

Discord alert purpose

Use Discord alerts to send Statixoup incident, downtime, and recovery notifications into a channel or recipient your responders already check. This helps the team notice problems faster without keeping the Statixoup dashboard open all day.

Best use

Connect the destination that your real responders monitor during working hours and outages, then verify it with a test alert.

Before you start

Open Integrations from the Statixoup dashboard. You need access to the destination account, an available integration allowance on your current plan, and permission to approve the connection.

  • Use Configure when the integration has not been connected before.
  • Use Reconnect when an existing integration is disconnected.
  • Keep a safe test destination available so you can verify delivery before relying on it during an outage.

Connect Discord

  1. 1.

    Choose Discord

Open Integrations and select Configure on the Discord card. If your plan has no available integration allowance, Statixoup asks you to upgrade before connecting.

  2. 2.

    Authorize Discord

Discord opens an authorization screen. Sign in if needed and approve the Statixoup connection.

  3. 3.

    Finish in Statixoup

Discord returns you to Statixoup while the app saves the Discord user and direct-message channel. Wait for the Successfully Connected message, then return to Integrations.

  4. 4.

    Verify delivery

Open the Discord integration detail page, confirm the status is Active, send a test alert, and review alert history. You can deactivate, reactivate, or remove the Discord integration from this page.

Test and manage alerts

After connection, open the integration detail page to confirm the Active status, review when it was configured, and send a test alert. The same page shows alert history and lets you deactivate or reactivate delivery as your response workflow changes.

Use a dedicated destination

Keep monitoring alerts visible and restrict who can change alert delivery settings.
