Get started with monitors
Create and review the monitors that Statixoup checks for uptime, response health, and SSL certificate problems. The guide follows the same monitor workflow used in the dashboard, so you can create, pause, remove, and troubleshoot monitors with confidence.
What monitors do
A monitor checks a website, API endpoint, or SSL certificate signal on a schedule. Each check records status, HTTP response information, timing data, and enough history to power incidents, reports, SLA metrics, and status pages.
Create a monitor

Open Monitors
Select Monitors from the account navigation and choose Create Monitor.

Enter the target URL
Enter a full HTTP or HTTPS URL, such as https://example.com, then select Add.

Add basic authentication if needed
If Statixoup detects that the endpoint requires basic authentication, enter the username and password and submit again.

Open the monitor
Use the row menu to view logs, response-time charts, current status, and available actions.
Review monitor results
- The monitor list shows the current status, last check time, and quick actions.
- The monitor detail page shows uptime status, response-time history, and period summaries.
- Use Test Alert from the monitor detail page to confirm alert delivery before depending on it during an outage.
- Use Configuration to tune interval, timeout, SSL, request, and alert settings.
Start with a simple endpoint
A public HTTPS health endpoint that returns a predictable 200 response is the easiest monitor to validate first.
