Connect WhatsApp alerts
Verify a WhatsApp number to receive Statixoup incident alerts and updates on mobile. You do not need to be a monitoring expert: this guide walks you through connecting the alert destination, confirming that it works, and knowing what to check if an alert does not arrive.
WhatsApp alert purpose
Use WhatsApp alerts to send Statixoup incident, downtime, and recovery notifications into a channel or recipient your responders already check. This helps the team notice problems faster without keeping the Statixoup dashboard open all day.
Best use
Connect the destination that your real responders monitor during working hours and outages, then verify it with a test alert.
Before you start
Open Integrations from the Statixoup dashboard. You need access to the destination account, an available integration allowance on your current plan, and permission to approve the connection.
- Use Configure when the integration has not been connected before.
- Use Reconnect when an existing integration is disconnected.
- Keep a safe test destination available so you can verify delivery before relying on it during an outage.
Connect WhatsApp

Open WhatsApp
From Integrations, select Configure on the WhatsApp card. If your plan has no available integration allowance, Statixoup shows an upgrade prompt.

Enter the WhatsApp number
Enter 8 to 15 digits including the country code, for example 15551234567, then select Connect.

Verify the code
Enter the six-digit verification code sent to WhatsApp. The code must be unused and unexpired.

Confirm and manage
After verification, open the WhatsApp integration detail page to send a test alert, review alert history, deactivate or reactivate delivery, or choose Change Phone Number to verify a new recipient.
Test and manage alerts
After connection, open the integration detail page to confirm the Active status, review when it was configured, and send a test alert. The same page shows alert history and lets you deactivate or reactivate delivery as your response workflow changes.
