Configure SSL certificate checks
Detect invalid or expired certificates and optionally receive certificate-expiry alerts before the service is affected. The guide follows the same monitor workflow used in the dashboard, so you can create, pause, remove, and troubleshoot monitors with confidence.
SSL options
- Verify SSL Certificate marks the monitor down if the certificate is invalid or expired.
- Notify on expiration sends an alert before the certificate expires.
- Days before expiry to alert must be at least 5 when expiry notifications are enabled.
- Free plans do not support SSL expiry notification.
Change SSL settings

Open Configuration
Open the monitor detail page and choose Configuration.

Open Security & SSL
Review Verify SSL Certificate and Notify on expiration.

Set expiry warning
If expiry notification is enabled, enter the number of days before expiry to alert.

Save
Submit the configuration and confirm the success message.
SSL incident behavior
SSL verification is checked on a daily cadence. When Statixoup detects an expiry or certificate problem that matches your settings, it creates an SSL incident, adds a timeline log, sends dashboard notification, and delivers configured alerts.
Treat certificate alerts as operational work
A website can still respond while its certificate is close to expiry. Handle the SSL incident before customers see trust or connection errors.
